Flower Notes: 1200-3000m; flowering time 5-8; 5-25 cm tall with a basal leaf rosette. No stolons, unlike Creeping Avens. Leaves pinnately divided with unevenly coarse-toothed sections; petals mostly 5, yellow. Rather common in the southern Alps but not found in the Bernese Oberland
