Flower Notes: Very similar to Alpine Eyebright except in its yellow corolla. 5-15cm tall; stem without glandular hairs; leaves opposite, dentate; calyx 4-partite; corolla 9-15mm long, yellow, with tube and 2-lipped margin; upper lip emarginate, lower lip longer than the upper one, 3 partite with emarginate lobes. Rocky slopes, grassland; stony soils, poor in calcium. 1600-2700m, flowering time 7-9. Rare, (occurs in the southern Alps only).
