Flower Notes: 5-25cm tall; leaves oval to lanceolate, sinuate to pinnatisect, glabrous; capitula 1 per stem, 2-3cm across, orange yellow to fire-red; involucre pilose with black spreading hairs. 1200-2700m, flowering time 6-8. Rather common.
